This Week: Kevin jumps the gun this week in anticipation for a horror-movie-filled October (which doesn’t actually start until next week). Still, that doesn’t stop him from planning all of his scary movie watching. However, before he does that, he looks at some odd and disappointing movie news, then reviews the new movies of the week: The Equalizer, The Boxtrolls, The Skeleton Twins and Love Is Strange. Later, amid the horror movie plans, he also looks at the box office and the DVDs and Blu-rays available this week. Boo!

This Week: As Kevin looks ahead to the end of summer and sending his kids back to school, he invites mild-mannered history teacher Trevor Schoenfeld (who, on his off-hours, turns into Schofizzy the movie blogger) into the Magical Studio in the Sky. They chat about the number of new films coming out this week, including ParaNorman, Sparkle, The Expendables 2 and The Odd Life of Timothy Green. They also spend part of the first segment singing the praises of Twitter while they spend a chunk of the middle segment singing the praises of stop-motion animation. After laying down a Fat Guy Five about stop-motion animation, they lay down some classic DVD and Blu-ray picks before packing their bags and heading off to school.
