Episode 257 – Entertaining My Pants Right Off

This Week: Being that Kevin is an expert on hunger, which is something he feels when he isn’t able to stuff his face for an hour or so, he eagerly awaits a discussion of the new film The Hunger Games. Also, since Kevin has no time to read anything more than picture books (because you’ll remember he read The Lorax several weeks ago), he invites Film School Rejects’ Associate Editor Kate Erbland into the Magical Studio in the Sky to discuss the book and film. They also give some restrained box office predictions and lay down a Fat Guy Five about movies that involve fighting to the death. Are you not entertained?

On This Week’s Show: Neil takes some time away from his preparation for the Austin Film Festival to meet up with Kevin in the Magical Studio in the Sky. The Fat Guys cut through Saw VI before taking flight with Amelia and Astro Boy then sinking their teeth into Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant. They also give some love to vampire movies (that aren’t Twilight) in a Fat Guy Five before preparing for Halloween and butt-loads of candy.

Episode 73 – Journey to the Center of the Fat

On This Week’s Show: Kevin and Neil welcome a special guest into the studio – Kevin’s son Liam. He’s only 7, but he’s seen more movies this week than Neil. Things are relatively tame… until Liam starts to beat Neil with an official Indiana Jones whip and then declares Meet Dave to be an awesome flick because money literally comes out of Eddie Murphy’s ass. The trio also gives their thoughts on Hellboy II and Journey to the Center of the Earth before a wayward spider enters the Magical Studio in the Sky and completely derails the show.
