Kevin says MORNING GLORY kinda rocks!
Okay, here’s the deal. With all the celebrity power of Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton in “Morning Glory,” it’s pretty impressive that they are both out-shined by the real star of the film, Rachel McAdams.
McAdams plays a new executive producer of a fledgling morning news program, and the film follows her struggles to keep the show afloat as well as deal with the crotchety Dan Rather-type newsman she manipulated into taking the job.
This is McAdams movie from beginning to end, and while the zaniness of the news show behind-the-scenes if funny, it only gets in her way of making this a great film. Very cute and surprisingly funny at times, “Morning Glory” will make a great date movie
“Morning Glory” gets three and a half stars out of five. This is Kevin Carr, and that’s the way I see it.
