Fat Guys at the Movies began in 2007 when Kevin Carr fell asleep next to Neil Miller at the press screening of The Science of Sleep. The two decided to collaborate on an audio program about film, and Kevin thought it was the perfect way for someone to make sure he actually stayed awake during press screenings.

The show was first broadcast as a podcast in conjunction with Film School Rejects and was soon picked up for syndication. From there, the show grew in popularity, and it is currently heard on 30 stations in the United States. Audio podcasts of the show continue to be streamed on the internet, reaching more than 90 countries around the world.

Each week, from the Magical Studio in the Sky, Kevin discusses the new theatrical releases, comment on entertainment news and offer insight on recent DVD and Blu-ray releases.
