Christmas Town tells the story of a disillusioned realtor named Liza McCann who travel to Hollyville to visit her father. There, she discovers a town that is all about Christmas. Soon, her son becomes convinced that the town is a direct line to Santa Claus. Liza finds her cynical views of Christmas are challeneged with fresh, new hope.
This film is a typical direct-to-video family film. It’s a nice, safe film to watch with your kids during the holidays, tip-toeing around the Santa spoilers and other revelations. The son is a bit odd, but the charm between stars Nicole de Boer as Liza and Patrick Muldoon helps save the film from too much schmaltziness.
